BIO
My name is Dara Goldsby, I am a wife of 35 years and a mother of three beautiful children. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, I attended McGlone Elementary School, Montbello High School, and Arapahoe Community College. I later move to Utah, where I began to pursue my Batchelor degree in psychology attending Weber State University. I also received counseling certifications from Ignite Change Counseling, and Metropolitain Academy for Behavioral Health in Denver Colorado. I am an author of three books, a business owner of a non-profit in Aurora Colorado as well as an Executive Director. My professional career is a supervisor, therapist and Certified Addictions Specialist (CAS). I currently use my personal and professional skills and experience to help my clients overcome present and past traumatic life events. As a mental health first aid provider, minister and community outreach ambassador, I also use my professional services, gifts and talents to mentor, embrace and enhance the life of others.
EDUCATION
Professional education and training as a Certified Addictions Specialist/counselor and therapist. CAC I and CACII training and certifications were provided by Dr Marjorie Lewis. Education was provided at Metropolitain Academy for Behavorial Health, Center for Community Excellence and Social Justice. Denver, Colorado. Professional counseling and certifications were also provided by Ignite Change Counseling. Denver Colorado.

Specializing in community service, intervention, youth, addiction counseling, client services, basic human needs and direct services as well as supervision and management.
