BIO
My name is Elia Martin and I am a Denver, Colorado native. I have a bachelors degree in Human Services and my Masters of Social Work.m with a certificate in School Social Work. Previously, I have worked in K-12 education for a number of years coordinating mentoring and career exploration programs for high school students. I currently work part-time as a substitute teacher for various school districts. In my current full time position, I am a grant manager for the Department of Local Affairs where I manage a grant that provides funding to local governments and nonprofits throughout the state of Colorado to help address homelessness. I am also an active board member for Metro Denver Homeless Initiatives. During my free time, I enjoy cooking and trying new restaurants, working out and providing fitness training to others on my community, traveling, creating content for my podcast, The Mommyana Podcast and spending time with my daughter, Elise and other family members and friends.
