BIO
Janai is a dynamic force of creativity, structure, and soul bringing a powerful mix of organizational leadership, artistic expression, and deep personal growth to our community.
Since launching her career in 2016 through dance education and youth development, Janai has continually redefined how movement, leadership, and storytelling can shape young lives. From her early days as a dance director and independent contractor to becoming a business owner and afterschool program founder, she has committed herself to helping students not only learn but discover who they are and what they’re capable of becoming.
Driven by a passion for project management, Janai began refining her skills in 2021, intentionally studying the field through courses while rebranding her educational programs. Her goal: to align her gifts in coordination, planning, and community engagement with a framework that allows her to build systems that inspire, sustain, and empower. Whether she’s curating healing-centered events for communities of color, organizing data and systems behind the scenes, or encouraging others to tap into their potential. Janai shows up with purpose and presence.
At her core, Janai believes that “we are spiritual beings having a human experience,” and she lives that truth through practices of movement, reflection, and service. She reminds us that freedom starts in the mind, body, and soul, and that surviving isn’t enough when you’re meant to thrive.
Her work and worldview are rooted in the power of self-actualization, neuroplasticity, and holistic well-being. She is passionate about nurturing youth, helping others rediscover their greatness, and inspiring her peers, especially in their 20s to look beyond hustle culture and into healing, intention, and legacy.
