BIO
Kenya Mahogany is a spoken word artist, educator, actress, producer and singer. She has written and directed the Henry Award winning play “Colorism, Breaking The Chains of Complexion,” Produced by 5280 Artist Co-Op. Kenya was Honored as one of Colorado’s Creative in the Westword in 2020 and has recently performed her first Tedx Talk. Kenya creates stories to normalize people of color to change their narratives by also using poetry, theatre, music, and fine art to deliver experiences that capture the imagination, warm the heart, and uplift the spirit.
