The Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado is rooted in service and committed to giving back to our community. Our Alumni continue to exemplify excellence across all sectors and counties in the state of Colorado, creating a legacy and building opportunities for others along the way!
We want to take this time to celebrate our Alumni and welcome our 2023 fellows. Friday night will be an evening of fun, food, cocktails, celebration and recognition! Join us as we let our hair down with style and grace - July 21st, 2023 from 6-10pm at Roof16 in Denver, Colorado.
The 7th Annual Thanksgiving in July!
It's a community barbecue for people without homes and those in need! Focusing on our neighbors without homes we set out to create a day of thanksgiving, celebration, good food and positive energy.
With over 100 volunteers, we are intentional about connecting with the community. Our volunteers spend the day not only serving meals and preparing backpacks, we play basketball, dance, and engage with our people we will hope you will join us at Fletcher Plaza in Aurora, outside of the Martin Luther King Jr. Library.
Run 4 Your Mind 5K
The Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado has launched the Run 4 Your Mind – 4 mile run and mental health fair to take place on Sunday, July 23rd at Town Center at Aurora. This is the only 5K focused and committed to improving the mental health and awareness for the African American community in Colorado. In addition to completing the 5K, participants will connect and learn from some of the leading mental health practitioners, therapist and holistic works that work specifically with the BIPOC community.
