About the Speakers
Simone Ross
Simone D. Ross elevates her 15+ years of corporate executive experience to bring voice to the importance of creating equity within business enterprises. She facilitates inspiring experiences, content, and presentations, to “ignite the light” within every participant. Simone is also the Regional Managing Director of one of the fastest growing brands in the nation, leading new market expansion and operations. She believes that through collaborative and equitable workspaces, everyone wins, accelerating their companies, careers, and lives.
Simone holds a Master of Arts, and Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University. She has been recognized by the Denver Business Journal as a “40 Under 40” business leader; the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce as one of the Top 25 Most Powerful Women; the Association for Corporate Growth as a David Sloan business scholar; and was recognized by the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce as a community service champion. She is a graduate of Leadership Denver, the Colorado State Chamber of Commerce CACI Executive Leadership Program, and is an Urban Leadership Foundation Chamber Connect alum.

Simone is most proud of her two amazing children. She is motivated by watching them grow, thrive, fearlessly create, and explore the world.

Anthony Brownlee
Anthony Brownlee is the owner of Brownlee Automotive. Brownlee Automotive’s corporate office is located in Colorado. Brownlee Automotive’s portfolio of brands include (Toyota, Chevrolet, Buick & GMC). In 2019 Anthony made history as the first African American car dealer in the state of Wyoming. He is passionate about building strong teams that are dedicated to genuine customer service.

Before starting Brownlee Automotive Anthony was the president and managing partner of Land Rover Denver. Anthony’s automotive experience includes working with both publicly and privately held dealer groups in several states and with a diverse collection of brands (Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Saturn, General Motors, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Kia and Land Rover). With Lithia Automotive, Anthony responsible for the daily operations of various locations in Denver; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Spokane, Washington.

As a member of several charity and auto industry boards Anthony has a personal commitment to giving back and working with organizations that he believes in, including the American Cancer Society, Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado, the Colorado Auto Dealers Association, and the American International Automobile Dealers Association. Anthony also was appointed by then-Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper to serve a two-year term on the Colorado Auto Division’s regulatory board. Anthony is currently the Chairman of the executive committee that is responsible for creating the Colorado Automotive Hall of Fame.

Anthony is originally from the Los Angeles area. He and his fiancée live in Castle Rock, Colorado. Anthony is an amateur photographer and history buff who enjoys international travel and learning about other cultures. He is a member of the University of Minnesota chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.
Anthony also owns a holding company, Pacific Rock Ventures LLC, with investments in automotive tech companies Reviver Auto & Spiffit Inc. as well as several real estate holdings in North Carolina and California.
